Has anyone heard about EY Forensics restructuring drastically?

Yes - the practice is leaning towards a service delivery model. Essentially people will be relocated to lower cost of labor markets. Think on-shoring.

No. I think their plan is to move less than 20 people, not a failure to move more. That’s hardly a restructuring. That’s finding a way to not fire a few people that don’t have a path forward. And most of those people have expressed they don’t want to move forward. They don’t want to do BD or PD and just want to work.
This is an accommodation for high performers with a limited skill set. It’s hardly news which is why I thought OP was referring to the solution realignment in the first place.

There was no restructuring. Much less drastically. People are doing the same work and are free to do whatever work. They just got coded to a solution before manager for accounting reasons. People can still move between solutions and work on whatever.

I’ve heard nothing of anything at scale. Little moves like that happen all the time so there could be something here or there but nothing coordinated. And they’re employee initiated, not firm imposed.
