I applied online. I interviewed at Hong Kong Television Network
Interview
The worst interview experience for my whole life...
The recruitment team came across as inexperienced and unprofessional—almost childish in their communication. Their messages lacked basic professionalism, such as proper salutations, names, or even correct capitalization. For example, I received informal, abrupt notes like "hi" and "let's talk next Monday," which felt entirely inappropriate for a professional setting. It’s disappointing to see that the company doesn’t seem to provide proper internal training on communication etiquette for its recruiters.
To make matters worse, despite confirming an interview with Justin for Monday at 2:30 PM, I never received a meeting link or any follow-up. As a courtesy, I even sent Justin a LinkedIn connection request that morning, mentioning the scheduled interview—yet he ignored it, despite accepting the invitation.
This level of disorganization and lack of professionalism reflects poorly on the company. Candidates deserve better.
