I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at MUFG (San Jose, CA) in May 2023
Interview
I applied, the application was rejected, and it was impossible to delete data. The MUFG recruiter contacted me to apply for a position. I registered and applied. The form collects data that is irrelevant for an interview. Why do you need to know the street where I live? Why do you need to know my birth date? After application, it is impossible to delete your data. I e-mailed to a Privacy e-mail address on the site. They answered that I need to prove my identity with a document otherwise they will not delete my data. Of cause, I am not sending any documents to them. am not going to send my documents to them. Most interesting, the CPPA Attorney says they actually have the right to not delete people's personal data. So, this Japanese company can go on the web, invite people, grow their users that will never come back, and use statistics and their information as they want. I don't understand. If my personal data is mine why can I not delete it from a database of a company? While a company can demand an NDA, a person cannot delete their own data from a company.
