I applied for the role and had a screening call a few weeks later. I was then invited to a first-stage interview, during which the interviewer joined late without any advance notice and did not acknowledge or apologise for the delay.
While I understand that delays can happen, a quick message beforehand would have been appreciated and helped set expectations. Overall, the tone of the process did not leave the strongest impression.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PEI Group in May 2026
Interview
The interview process took almost one week. The first and second rounds were smooth, but after that they assigned a technical assessment, which required a significant amount of time and effort to complete. Unfortunately, it felt like the effort put into the assessment was not properly considered or appreciated during the hiring process.
After the assessment review, there was a manager round that lasted nearly one hour. Even after clearing that discussion, they still wanted to conduct another round just to gain more confidence in the candidate. Surprisingly, that was still not the final step, as there was also a separate leadership round afterward.
The overall process felt unnecessarily lengthy and repetitive. Multiple rounds were conducted with similar discussions, making the process time-consuming and exhausting for candidates. Despite investing considerable effort in the assessment and interviews, there was very little respect shown for the candidate’s time and contribution.
Overall, the interview experience was disappointing due to the excessive number of rounds and the lack of consideration for the effort candidates put into the process.
