I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ralph Lauren (Hong Kong) in Oct 2023
Interview
The interviewer who is kind of senior lead or whatever, he is very racist. Last year when we sat for interview, he asked simple questions and I had answered all of them correctly, my CV was perfectly matching with the requirements on JD. But he chose to hire my colleague who was a fresh graduate with no experience. The job required platform migration from an old system to Azure. Still he rejected me saying "lack of programming experience", while I had more working experience. He just wanted a reason to reject me, my account manager was shocked to even hear this. And the clear reason is: my counterpart is a HKer Cantonese speaker who will just put down his head and do the work. Maybe the interview is so unprofessional, he hired whom he found like himself.

Question 1
1. What SQL joins do you know?
2. What is API, how have you used it.
2 rounds, one technical and one with the manager that was more behavioral. Great conversation but I was not offered another interview unfortunately. Really great experience though and I feel lucky I even got experience.
There were 4 interview steps: General interview - Technical interview - Technical exam - Head interview Long procedure but difficulty was not hard compared to normal technology jobs. Technical exam can be done at home and it was based on daily job at workplace which was not difficult as well.
