Pros

Maybe salary but it's not overly competitive compared to similar competitors Few hard working people

Cons

I don't even know where to start. Management team are extremely young and inexperienced, many who are not qualified which leads to a chaos. Senior associates, manager level people in previous companies or positions are being selected as director and executive level to operate a whole department and it's become a total mess. They probably can be a good individual worker in past position but to actually perform as an executive or director level, you need good experience from a big company or have to be smart. select a person whos good in managing people, not the person with best individual performances. You think u have a lot of ideas to upgrade the company? Good luck. The directors who are not qualified to make any decisions are so conceited and trapped in their own wonderland, they would not accommodate any new ideas that would help the growth of the company. The company structure makes everyone even to the junior manager level to play politics. Its not the people, its the culture and the structure itself that makes the place toxic. You guys are giving info access which is not even confidential to certain people so those people would leverage those to play politics. Other companies dont do this. If your direct manager doesnt like you or if they are incompetent in their job being jealous of you, they pretty much have all the power to fail you in your function, which is really different from other companies. If something goes wrong, they start pointing at people. HR people. Even if you hire externals who are brilliant or experienced, the current internals are way too toxic and closed to new ideas that the same thing is happening over and over again. You have to stop hiring for a second and start auditing the manager or director level people on regular basis. Talk with the owner or the top management people to get authority to bang on the mid level people and audit them.

And, This company offers completely different salary levels to foreigners and Chinese, exploiting Chinese and other East Asians, and even a bit of flattery to foreigners in terms of policy.
