      Client site is well-facilitated in the pantry

      Cons

      Perm workers at client site see contractors as transparent, feel like a second-class citizen at the client site. Zero career opportunities, contractual agreement between Cognizant and the client forbid you to move into a perm role with the client. Shifts & public holiday work were not communicated during the interview process.

      Poorly managed project Managers are extremely biased and will be good to you only if they like you Managers are very manipulative and can harm you professionally if you don't agree with everything they say, right or wrong

      Ample opportunities to work across projects and locations across world. Good exposure in terms of work.

      Cons

      Work environment highly polluted due to politics. Difficult to rise without blessing from leaders. A culture where achievement of others are used to promote own candidates. Salary hike are very poor and i had to think many times how to meet my basic needs inspite of superb performance in terms of client work satisfaction. Very poor work life balance. Extended working hours. Senior leaders not connected with client.
