-Working hours can be very long depending on projects -Ask people to spend WAY too much time on other so call practice development stuff, can be fun for people with the drive but not when you are on a project working 12 hours + per day including weekends (practice development is part of your year-end review element) -Sometimes you get place into projects by managers that do not consider your skillsets at all. Although they will sell it as "a good opportunity to learn", but from the client's standpoint, this is an unprofessional nor responsible approach. Often consultants have the capability to learn quickly but this is usually against the promises when the firm were selling the project to the client. In addition, it gets people into stressed mode, hence I said Consulting is not for everyone.

Bureacracy, Regional difference from east and west is big misinterpreted localized strategy, HK local staff is not willing to work with foreigns staff Not much IPO, Not much S&O experience No English working environment in HK, no cantonese, leave Long hours, very low pay, very low bonus Management doesnt want any advice from staff, they dont like to be commented. HR, Sales and Marketing are weak in HK office. No consulting deals in HK, people without IT bakcground cant survive. Internal Discrmination in HK office. Very complicated internal approve.
