Pros

Great benefits incentives to sell

Cons

Terribly outdated mandatory training that's only available in Cantonese and Mandarin, the former is taken over by Mainland trainees and the sessions ended up being conducted in Mandarin anyways. If you're thinking about joining now, unless you have secured a handful of high-buyers, the economy and the oversaturation of agents are enough reasons to deter you from starting. But to continue, the IT/software support are newbies who don't understand the agent's POV (training/experience issue, not personal), the software/processes are needlessly complicated and requires restructuring, and most of all, if your leader isn't a good leader, you're doomed. Leaders become leaders based on their sales, and eventually their underlings' sales. They do not necessarily have the skills or time to support you and guide you in the beginning. I've only seen two types of teams: first, cult-like and overly cheerful teams that embodies "work hard, play hard" and "we're like family". Whilst members usually are supported and well-performing, not everyone can stomach this type of a work environment nor brain-washing. The second are old teams that are well past their "best before" dates. Most members are coasting through their income padded by the residuals of decades of sales, and have tenure. Others, who still work hard, such as the leader, will have no time to train you at all. My parents have been in this company for 3/4 decades each, and wanted me to try. That's all I can say.
