"Back in January, I couldnāt bring myself to post about my one-year anniversary at Glassdoor. The news of so many layoffs crippled me with fear. I didnāt want to celebrate out loud while others grieved the loss of financial stability, self-esteem, career progression, etc. I also feared being ānext,ā if Iām being completely honest. While those fears still exist, Iāve chosen to celebrate out loud today. Within my first year at Glassdoor, Iāve made Presidentās Club. Transitioning to industries came with significant imposter syndrome for me. Thus, I spent a lot of time asking questions, learning the mechanics, doing customer research, and creating preliminary scripts for myself to ease my nerves; all behaviors that I believe made me eligible for this award."- Chantia Olusoga, Enterprise Customer Success Manager Congratulations to you, Chantia!

"I would be remiss to not acknowledge that today marks my first completed year with Glassdoor. Iām beyond grateful for where this opportunity has taken me so far. Had I not found the courage to walk away from a 14-year career in bankingā¦I may not be where I am today. Lying in bed while my little girl lay sleeping on me and holding my hand š I will be returning to a workforce that has recently undergone some drastic changes. I know I will feel the absence of those no longer there; while still getting to enjoy the camaraderie of so many wonderful faces. Undoubtedly it will be another new experience but one that Iām ready to meet. For now, I will enjoy this last month with my baby girlššš½āØ"- Mercedes Ron, Account Manager- Upper Mid Market Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary, Mercedes! We can't wait to welcome you back.
