Pros

Fast advancement means you get career advancement quicker than peers Exposure to big corporations Well structured, everybody knows where to look for things Good branding

Cons

Had bad experience with the "people first" mentality. Didn't really mean what they said. A one point we were forced to take "voluntary" leave of absence. The corporate broadcasted everyone participated voluntarily. Didn't like that too much.

Pros

Higher social status, a lot of learning opportunities, I am working at Financial Services Office ("FSO") where there seems to be a lot of internal transfer opportunities

Cons

There are already a lot of accountants and auditors in Hong Kong. Ernst & Young is not competitive to its competitors like PWC and KPMG.
