      Pros

      - Some really passionate people at the company - Great domain knowledge

      Cons

      - Bad management. Absentee incompetent CEO is a random MBA with zero business knowledge - Weird hiring decisions (e.g. spend months to hire someone new in upper management, fire them after two weeks) - Office stinks of cannabis and this was costing the company clients - Company is losing money and trying to outsource everything - Friend of the CEO lost a major contract and was then promoted - Employees have to sign a non-compete (so you can't get another job in the same industry, even if laid off) - Product has no moat. It's just a bunch of parts from China inside a shipping container. Plenty of firms are building almost identical products.

      Pros

      Passionate team. Leadership genuinely wants to do what's best for the customer and team. Impressive tech. Tons of potential to do big things and be really successful.

      Cons

      They're growing quickly and just started in some geographies. So they don't have all the policies, benefits, communication channels, etc put in place everywhere yet.

      Pros

      Great collaborative workspace where it's possible to take on multiple tasks between different teams. A very friendly environment where everyone is willing to help at any point in time. You can see the impact of every small decision you make, even as an intern, in the overall product down the line. Different problems to solve almost every day.

      Cons

      Work/life balance can be difficult, but Hong Kong is known for a "Work hard, play hard" mentality.
