A little over a year ago, the Fashion Pact was presented at the G7 Summit in Biarritz – a historic moment bringing together industry leaders recognizing the need to set clear, common goals and commitments to safeguard our planet with a focus on climate, biodiversity and oceans. With 32 signatories at its inauguration, the Fashion Pact has since doubled to over 60 signatories, representing 14 countries, and today launched its first progress report on commitments and targets in each of the three areas. Ralph Lauren is proud to be a part of the Fashion Pact as it supports our ongoing journey to Design the Change and the belief that, together with our industry, we can take meaningful actions to create a more beautiful, sustainable world. Every year, our employees gather from around the world for our Pink Pony Walk to support in the fight against cancer and help raise awareness for our Pink Pony initiative. This year, while we won’t be meeting in person, we are coming together by holding our first-ever virtual Pink Pony Walk – our way, during these challenging times, to show our support and solidarity with people affected by cancer. This year, our employees around the world are joining the virtual walk with their Bitmojis and gathering in cities across the globe featuring New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Munich, Tokyo, Shanghai and Seoul. Join us in our cause by visiting the Ralph Lauren Wardrobe on Bitmoji or Snapchat and dressing your Bitmoji in the Pink Pony Polo Shirt. Starting on October 8, 2020 and through the end of the month, for everyone who changes their Bitmoji’s shirt to the Pink Pony Polo Shirt and shares a public post on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or TikTok with #PinkPonyWalk, Ralph Lauren will donate $10 to the Pink Pony Fund of the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation, up to $200k

We are humbled and honored to be acknowledged as Company of the Year at the annual American Image Awards hosted by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA). Our President & Chief Executive Officer, Patrice Louvet, accepted the award on behalf of the Company. “Ralph has always said that our business isn’t about making clothes. It’s about dreams. Defining them, bringing them to life and inspiring others to do the same. It’s about having a Purpose, a vision and standing for something,” said Patrice Louvet. “That, I think, is going to shape the kind of future we as companies, and as an industry, create.”
“When someone we love has cancer, we are all affected—husbands, wives, mothers and fathers, sisters, brothers, and friends. This is our effort in the fight against cancer.” - Ralph Lauren For more than 20 years, we have been committed to reducing the gaps and inequities in cancer care through better access to quality treatment. As part of this, we have built long-standing partnerships with cancer charities around the world. Our global Pink Pony campaign is the cornerstone of our fight against cancer, and now, in its 20th year, Pink Pony is recognized for its contributions to raising awareness, encouraging conversation and education as well as driving donations. In this year’s campaign, we are honored to share conversations with luminaries around the world who have been affected by cancer, conversations that are underpinned with messages of love and of hope. By sharing their words, it is our hope to inspire a global conversation. Join us in our fight against cancer: https://lnkd.in/e5us_rq
This Climate Week, we reinforce our commitment to addressing the issue of climate change – within our business and across our value chain. Specifically, through our Design the Change strategy, we are: - Advancing on our goal to power our owned and operated offices, distribution centers and stores with 100% renewable electricity by 2025, as part of our #RE100 membership - Working towards our science-based target to reduce our absolute GHG emissions across our operations and supply chain by 30 percent by 2030, compared to 2020 levels - Integrating environmental factors in our process for developing and sourcing key raw materials so that 100% of our key materials are sustainably sourced by 2025 In addition, we recognize meaningful change will come from both individual and collective action. We’re proud to be signatories of the #WeAreStillIn declaration and the UN Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, pledging to limit our emissions in line with the #ParisAgreement goals. We are also members of the The Fashion Pact.
